The ornate piece in red is typically from Middle East, or eastern country.
The brass cap in yellow is 1700 > 1750 years.


The dogs screw without hole (in green) is before 1750 approximately.
The dog (pink) S style also.
The trigger (yellow) with a loop is 1700 > 1730 years.
No external screws (red) also.

The screw (blue) seems modern??

My opinion: its a european manufacturing pistol (France, Spain ...?) for the Middle East or eastern country, made in end of XVIII° century, or in early XIX°.

May be just ornamental?

I have the opportunity to buy these weapons can at a good price, ornament maybe ornamental, I found no mention anywhere on the gun.

Superbe tes adresses Christian, la période dernier quart 1700 - premier quart 1800 est judicieuse.
Belle pièce qu'il a trouvé là notre Maniak.
Du coup j'ai jeté un oeil dans ma vieille littérature "Howard Ricketts, FIRE ARMS", et j'ai vu que de toute l'Europe de l'Ouest ainsi que jusqu'en Inde on fabriquait ce style de pistolet de la fin des années 1700 jusqu'en 1830/1840.
Et comme c'étaient des pièces uniques, faites sur commande, dur de s'y retrouver.
L'indice pourrait provenir du motif des incrustations de laiton, mais il faudrait de bonnes photos de base.
En essayant de les grossir, je leur trouve un air oriental, voire indien.

Maniak: If we could have some very good qualitiy pictures of the ornamental brass inlaid work ? that could give a good track.
