Yes I did pass the bureau de recrutement but went back and posted in the correct forums. I just don't want to duplicate a post if the first post is going to get unlocked.

The poing americains are prohibited in France and this seems like a good place to find some of the old antique ones that French soldiers may have used. Although the item I have asked about is not from and war era but is French made.

I thought maybe a collector on here might have one for sale or point me in the right direction or even maybe someone can find one at a militaria fair show.
